CBP Officer Charged in Alleged JFK Bribery Scheme

The DOJ said a complaint was unsealed charging CBP officer Kevin Seto and former university administrator Hiu Kit David Chong in connection with an alleged bribery scheme. It alleges that Seto accepted bribes and gratuities in exchange for confidential law-enforcement and immigration information and special treatment during entry processing at JFK Airport.

Seto and Chong were arrested, according to the DOJ. The charges are allegations; the extract reports no pleas, convictions, settlements or final findings. Henry Yau is also identified as an alleged participant in the complaint.
