Hong Kong court convicts six in construction tender-information bribery case

Hong Kong’s ICAC said a senior construction manager at Henderson Land and five individuals linked to four subcontractors were convicted after trial of four conspiracy counts under the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance and Crimes Ordinance. The court found that the manager accepted advantages worth about HK$180,000, including cash and gifts, in connection with disclosing internal tendering documents and information for work packages on 10 projects.

The defendants were convicted; the court adjourned the case to 27 November 2025 for mitigation and sentencing. They were remanded in custody pending that hearing.
