Former Bureau of Prisons officer Ashley Brown was sentenced to 48 months in prison after pleading guilty to public-official bribery and money-laundering counts. The DOJ said Brown received more than $80,000 through Cash App in connection with smuggling contraband into FCI-Jesup, including drugs and mobile phones.
