US jury convicts erosion-control company and two individuals in public-contract price-fixing case

A US federal jury convicted Sioux Erosion Control Inc., part-owner and vice president BG Dale Biscoe, and employee Randall David Shelton for participating in a five-year conspiracy involving more than $100 million in publicly funded Oklahoma transportation contracts. The DOJ said the scheme involved fixing prices, allocating contracts and rigging bids through intentionally high bids or refusals to bid; these were allegations presented at trial and the jury returned convictions.
